I doubt I'd get married even if same-sex marriage was legal, but that's a big part of the problem. Getting married in one of those states that doesn't allow same-sex marriage feels like joining a country club that doesn't allow African-Americans or Jews.
Of course, there's also the small problem that Georgia law still allegedly contains the gem that the man is the head of the household and the woman is subject to him (Section 53-501). Ugh.
